The gold rate in Pakistan is announced daily by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the Karachi-based trade body whose benchmark sarafa markets nationwide follow. Our rates are based on this benchmark, reflecting the international gold spot price converted at the prevailing US dollar to Pakistani rupee exchange rate, along with local market conditions.

Gold prices, however, move continuously, and the rates we display are indicative — intended to inform, not to serve as a final transaction price. Actual prices at jewellers include making charges and dealer premiums that vary from shop to shop.
