Gold in Pakistan rose Rs1,500 to Rs433,500 per tola today, recovering from its 30-day low, as a weaker US dollar and easing Treasury yields lifted spot gold to $4,182.05 an ounce.
The gold rate in Pakistan rose today, with 24K gold climbing Rs1,500, or 0.35%, to Rs433,500 per tola. On Thursday the rate stood at Rs432,000, so today's gain lifts gold a little off its recent low as international prices firmed.
What Moved Gold
International gold edged higher on Friday as the US dollar slipped, according to Reuters reports carried by CNBC. The dollar was heading for its first weekly fall in five weeks, which makes dollar-priced bullion cheaper for buyers holding other currencies. Yahoo Finance also pointed to easing US 10-year Treasury yields, which reduce the cost of holding gold, a metal that pays no interest.
Gains were held in check by expectations that the Federal Reserve could raise interest rates again. Stronger-than-expected US inflation data earlier in the week kept that possibility alive, and traders priced a 28% chance of a hike at this month's Fed meeting, according to CME's FedWatch tool. Higher rates tend to weigh on gold.

The Week So Far
A week ago, on 9 October 2026, 24K gold was Rs436,500 per tola, so today's rate is still Rs3,000 lower than it was then. Over the past 30 trading days the rate has ranged from a high of Rs454,700 on 19 September 2026 to a low of Rs432,000 on 13 October 2026, and gold remains close to the bottom of that range.
International Gold Price
Spot gold was trading at $4,182.05 per troy ounce, up $23.83, or 0.57%, from the previous close of $4,158.22. Even with today's rise, reports noted that gold was on course for a small loss over the week as a whole.
